The Borderlanders have sent Hurin to negotiate with Rand, but Hurin lets slip that the army is in Far Madding. Rand Travels there and nearly attacks the army using the access key until Nynaeve stops him. He sends Hurin to tell them Rand's offer to send them back to their posts in the Blight by gateway.

Rand reveals Perrin's location to Nynaeve. She goes to Cadsuane, where Min is discussing the fact that her viewings are only guaranteed if the Dark One does not destroy the Pattern.

Nynaeve reveals Perrin's location. Cadsuane says that she doesn't seek Perrin, but someone who is with him.
