How to Clear the First Tank in World 8

Jump onto the first part of the tank, but watch out for the cannonball that comes out of the next part of the tank. Jump onto the platform with the cannons, where another cannon is shooting cannonballs at an angle toward you. The next cannon shoots Bob-ombs. After that, there is another horizontal cannon, then a Bob-omb cannon. Then there are three cannons that shoot cannonballs up at an angle toward you.

Next, there is a Rocket Engine, and a Rocky Wrench on top of the tank, followed by a cannon that shoots Bob-ombs to the right.

Next, there are two tanks that each shoot cannonballs horizontally and have a Rocky Wrench on top. This is followed by a tank with two cannons and a Rocky Wrench on top, and a Bob-omb cannon on the back.

Then there is a tank with one horizontal cannon and a Rocky Wrench, and a ? Block on the back that you can hit to get a Super Mushroom or Super Leaf. If you're tall, you will have to run and crouch under the ? Block to hit it.

There is another tank with a horizontal cannon and Rocky Wrench on top, and two cannons on the back, one that shoots cannonballs up at an angle, and one that shoots Bob-ombs. The next tank is almost identical, except it only has a Bob-omb launcher on the back. This is followed by a tank with a Bob-omb launcher on the front and back, a Rocky Wrench on top, and a cannon that shoots cannonballs up at an angle on the back.

The next tank has a small horizontal cannon on the front, and the tank after that has a giant cannon that shoots giant cannonballs, with a Rocky Wrench on top and three small cannons on the back that shoot cannonballs up at an angle.

Finally, there is a tank that just has a pipe on it. Go down the pipe and you will encounter a Boomerang Bro. Defeat him and open the chest to get a Starman.

After the Level

You can ignore the pipe to the north, because it just leads to a dead end.
