How to Clear World 5-9

This world automatically moves left and down, so you have to go up and to the right. Make a running jump past the Red Paratroopa to land on the upper cloud. Then jump onto the wooden platform. Keep jumping up the wooden platforms, and the level will start moving more quickly.

Eventually, there is a platform above you, but you can't jump up through it, so you will have to go around and jump up from the left of the upper platform.

At this point, a Flame Chomp will appear, and start spinning fireballs at you. Try to dodge the fireballs, and you can try to stomp the Flame Chomp if you can safely land on a platform afterward.

A second Flame Chomp will appear, but it's not recommended to try to stomp it. Just focus on safely landing on each platform as soon as you can. At the top, there is a cloud with a pipe above it. Go up through the pipe.

Go to the right, beware of the Lakitu in the sky, and run to the right to hit the Goal Block and complete the level. Then you can enter the castle, where the king has been transformed into a bird or Albatoss, and Toad asks you to help. You'll automatically enter the World 5 Airship.
