How to Clear World 7-3

If you used a P Wing before you entered this level, you can just fly to the right until you reach the Goal Block, and hit it to clear the level. See After the Level for where to go next.

Otherwise, hit the ? Block to make a Starman appear. Collect it and run to the right, and slide down the slope, then if you hit the bottom-left ? Block while you're still invincible, another Starman will appear. (If your invincibility runs out first, the ? Block will just contain a coin.)

Jump on top of the highest ? Blocks and go right, then slide down the slope. As before, if you hit the bottom-left ? Block while you're still invincible, another Starman will appear.

As before, jump on top of the highest ? Blocks and go right, then slide down the slope. After the Venus Fire Trap in the pipe, hit the brick while you're still invincible, and a Starman will come out. There is a Lakitu in the sky that drops Spiny Eggs onto the ground.

To the right, you can optionally hit the brick to make a P Switch come out, and collect the eight blue coins that appear nearby, but this will mean that your invincibility will run out.

If you want to stay invincible instead, then ignore the brick and run to the right, and you reach a pipe with a brick on either side. If you are still invincible, hit either of these bricks to get yet another Starman. The other brick will also have a Starman while you're invincible. Goombas will keep coming out of both sides of the pipe.

From there, keep going right, past several holes in the ground, and you will reach two Koopa Paratroopas. Get past them and hit the Goal Block to complete the level.

After the Level

You can optionally go to the Spade House for a chance to get 1UPs.

Otherwise, if you want two 1UP Mushrooms, you should equip a Super Leaf or Tanooki Suit or P Wing before you go to World 7-4. Or you can go to World 7-5 next instead.
