How to clear Vanilla Dome 4 in Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy Advance.

How to Clear Vanilla Dome 4

Throughout this level, Bullet Bills will shoot across the screen, so watch your step.

Go to the right and get the Dragon Coin, then jump on the Bouncing Bough and stand on the end of it that isn't attached to the pillar, and jump to reach the top of the pillar.

To the right, there is a red Koopa Troopa, then two pillars with Bouncing Boughs between them. There is a red Koopa Paratroopa near the lowest Bough, then a Super Mushroom at the bottom.

After that, there are some coins above two pillars. Then there are Mushroom Platforms, the middle of which has three coins above it.

Next, there are two short pillars with Bouncing Boughs where you can get four coins, then a pair of Bouncing Boughs with a green Koopa Paratroopa and a Dragon Coin above them, and finally, two Bouncing Boughs with coins above them. Use the Bouncing Bough on the right to reach the top of the pillar.

Go counterclockwise around the Brown Block to make a 1-Up Mushroom appear. Then hit the Prize Block above it to get a Cape Feather.

Then go to the right and use the Bouncing Bough to reach the top of the pillar. Go to the right from there and get the coins on the Mushroom Platforms, then stomp the red Koopa Paratroopas above the Bouncing Boughs, and bounce up to the top of the pillar.

To the right, stomp the red Koopa Paratroopa to reach the Midway Gate, then go to the right.

From this point on, five Bullet Bills at a time will go across the screen, some from the right, some from the left, some from above, and some from below.

After the Midway Gate, there are two Jumping Piranha Plants in the pipes. The pipe on the right leads to an underground passage where you can get a lot of coins and a Dragon Coin at the end, but you will miss a Fire Flower and a 1-Up Mushroom. You also have to leave Yoshi behind in the underground passage. If you want the Fire Flower and 1-Up Mushroom instead, or just want to keep Yoshi, skip to Above-ground Passage on this page.

Underground Passage

If you go down the pipe, you should hop off of Yoshi. Then go to the right and get on the Skull Raft, and try to get as many coins as you can. Jump over or crouch under the Brown Blocks to avoid getting pushed off. If you're on Yoshi, you can't crouch enough to go beneath some of the Brown Blocks. At the end, jump up and get the Dragon Coin, then go through the pipe. Skip ahead to After the Pipe on this page.

Above-ground Passage

Go to the right, past a green Koopa Troopa, and go down to the Prize Block below. It contains a Fire Flower. Then go to the right and jump up the two Bouncing Boughs, then get on the Bouncing Bough on the right. Stand on the middle of it so you won't jump as high, and use it to jump to the platform beneath the row of Prize Blocks.

The Block that doesn't have a question mark on it contains a 1-Up Mushroom. It will start moving to the right, so either chase after it, or make it go to the left by hitting a Prize Block when the 1-Up Mushroom is on the left side of the Prize Block. It will bounce to the left, where you can jump up and get it. The rest of the Prize Blocks contain coins. To get the rightmost Prize Block, go to the right and stomp the red Koopa Troopa and use its shell to hit the rightmost Prize Block. Then go to the right and get the coins where the red Koopa Troopa was. To the right, there is a pipe.

After the Pipe

Go to the right, where there is a green Koopa Troopa, then go to the right and get the Dragon Coin beneath the Bouncing Bough, and use the Bouncing Bough to get back up.

Go to the right, past two red Koopa Paratroopas and some Bouncing Boughs, and get the final Dragon Coin above the second Paratroopa. Then go through the Giant Gate on the right to complete the level.

After the Level

The path to the south unlocks, so you can go to #3 Lemmy's Castle.
