How to clear Forest Fortress in Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy Advance.

How to Clear Forest Fortress
This area automatically scrolls from right to left.
As you go to the right, a Pillar will slam down from above. After it goes back up, try to run past the first Grinder blade, but don't run into the second blade, to avoid the second Pillar. Or you can get in the ditch and crouch if you're tall, but you won't have much time to jump out of the ditch before the screen scrolls and crushes you.
Next, go past both Grinder blades if you can, so that you are to the right of the third Pillar. You can again try to crouch in the ditch, but once again, you won't have much time to jump out before the scrolling screen crushes you.
Then go past the fourth blade and the second gap in the floor to be to the right of the Pillar.
There is another blade ahead, then a gap. Try to get past the gap and stand on the right side of the solid platform to avoid the next pillar.
Then there are two Blades that both go up near the ceiling. Go past them and get on the right side of the screen to avoid the next pillar. Then go through the door.
A blade will fall down from the upper-right part of the screen, so be ready to jump over it if needed.
Next, there is a lava pit with two Lava Bubbles jumping out of it. Go past them and there is an area with two blades that roll back and forth along the ground. Jump over them and quickly run on the Triangular Block to run up the wall.
If you have been to the Yellow Switch Palace, there will be a Yellow Block with a Super Mushroom in it.
Next, there is a lava pit with two Lava Bubbles going up and down from it. This is followed by an area of blades in the floor and Lava Bubbles jumping up and down from below. There are some Gray Blocks that you can try to jump on to get past without being in the path of the blades.
Then there is a lava pit with a Lava Bubble in it, but make sure that you jump onto the lower level to avoid the blade that falls from the floating platform, then when it has gone past, jump up onto the floating platform. From there, you can jump up to get the three coins.
There are more blades on floating platforms and blades on the floor, so wait for the blades to roll off of the floating platforms, and stay on the floating platforms as you go to the right. Above the second floating platform, there is a Prize Block with a Cape Feather in it. Above the third floating platform, there is an opening in the ceiling. This leads to a challenging alternate path that has nine 1-Up Mushrooms at the end. If you don't want to try the challenge, just go down to the floor and run on the Triangular Platform to run up the wall, and you will reach the boss door. Skip to Reznor on this page to see the boss strategy.
If you do want to try the challenging path, jump up through the hole in the ceiling. If you have a Cape Feather, as soon as you jump up through the hole in the ceiling, run to the right and start gliding, and stay near the ceiling. If you stay far up enough, you can glide past all the Lava Bubbles without getting hit. Otherwise, you have to spin jump on top of each Lava Bubble to make it all the way across. If you make it all the way to the end, you can hit all the Blocks to get a 1-Up Mushroom from each one. Then go through the boss door.
Reznor
There are four Reznor triceratops on four spinning platforms. You have to hit a platforms from underneath to defeat the Reznor on top of it. After you defeat the first Reznor, the floor will start to disappear, so jump onto an empty Reznor platform to avoid falling into the lava.
After the Level
After you defeat all four Reznors, the path to the west will unlock, and you can reach a Star Road entrance that leads to Star World 4.
