How to clear Chocolate Island 4 in Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy Advance.

How to Clear Chocolate Island 4
You begin the level on a downward slope. At the bottom, there is a Diagonal Platform on the right. Jump onto it to go over the pit of boiling chocolate. You won't slide downward while on the Diagonal Platform.
To the right, there are three Diagonal Platforms. If you want a Dragon Coin, use the bottom-right platform of the three, but be careful not to fall into the boiling chocolate.
To the right, make sure to get on the next Diagonal Platform so you don't fall into the chocolate just after the slope. Get on the Diagonal Platform to the right of that, then try to jump onto the platform farther down in the screen, then onto the platform below that, then the one to the right of that, and from there you should be able to jump onto the Flimsy Lift on the right and reach solid ground on the right.
Next, go up the long slope and get the three coins, then jump onto the ledge to the left to reach the Dragon Coin against the left wall. Then get back on the slope on the right, and keep going to the right until you reach the end of the ledge. Jump to the right to land on the ledge across the gap, but before you go to the right, if you have been to the Red Switch Palace and/or Yellow Switch Palace, you can get one or more 1-Up Mushrooms. There is a Diagonal Platform in the gap between the ledges, but if you have also been to the Blue Switch Palace, you can just fall down below to land on the Blue Blocks there. If you haven't been there, get on the Diagonal Platform and make your way to the left, where there will be one or more 1-Up Mushrooms on the Red and/or Yellow Block(s) on the left. If the Yellow Block is there, you can hit it to get a Super Mushroom. Afterward, go to the right and use the Diagonal Platforms to reach the ledge on the right.
To the right, get the coins and Dragon Coin on top of the blocks, then hit the third Block from the left to make a P Switch appear. Step on it, then get the Dragon Coin that was blocked by Brown Blocks. You can optionally go down the pipe to the right that was blocked by Brown Blocks. If you don't go down the pipe, go to the right and skip to After the Rewards Room on this page.
P Switch Rewards Room
You will land on an arrow of Blocks, where there is a P Switch on the left side. There are 11 "floors" in this room, and you can get different rewards depending on which floor you are on when the P Switch effect wears off, or if you are Caped Mario, you can step on the P Switch and fall down the left side of the room, then just fly up to each floor. Here are the rewards you can get, from the top to the bottom of the room.
- Thirteen coins
- Cape Feather
- Ten coins and Dragon Coin
- One 1-Up Mushroom
- Super Star
- Super Mushroom
- Five 1-Up Mushrooms
- Cape Feather
- Fire Flower
- Five coins
- Three 1-Up Mushrooms
- Nothing
No matter which of the floors you end up on, there is a pipe on the right that takes you back to the previous area. You can go back to the left to try again if you wish.
After the Rewards Room
If you didn't go down the pipe to the rewards room, skip this paragraph. If you went down the pipe to the rewards room, you will come up a pipe and you will see a Mega Mole to the right, as well as a Prize Block, which contains a Fire Flower. Fall down below.
There are some coins above some blocks, and a Mega Mole that you can ride on top of, or defeat by having Yoshi eat it or by kicking a shell or block at it. Go to the right and jump over the chocolate pit.
To the right, you find a Clappin' Chuck on a pipe, and the Giant Gate. Go through the Giant Gate to complete the level.
After the Level
The path to the west will unlock and you can go to Chocolate Island 5.
