How to Clear Donut Plains 4

Go to the right and there is a Red Berry, followed by a yellow Koopa Shell and an unshelled Koopa Troopa that will jump into the shell. If you have Yoshi, and if Yoshi eats the shell, he will make the ground shake whenever he lands, and will create dust clouds to the left and right. The dust clouds can defeat nearby enemies. This effect lasts until you spit out the shell or until Yoshi swallows the shell.

Go to the right and jump from the pipe to the top of the hill, where there is a Dragon Coin. Below, there is a Goomba (also known as Galoomba) followed by a red Koopa Troopa, then a pipe with a Jumping Piranha Plant in it.

After a gap, there is a blue Koopa Troopa and a pipe. This pipe moves up and down when you get close to it. This is followed by another gap and blue Koopa Troopa and pipe. This pipe has a Jumping Piranha Plant, and you can go down the pipe to reach a secret area. There aren't any coins or power-ups in this secret area, so you might want to just skip it. If you do go to the secret area, you find several pipes, some of which go up and down when you get close, and two red Koopa Paratroopas along the way. Go down the pipe at the end.

Go to the right, and if you didn't go to the secret area, there is another pipe that goes up and down when you get close.

Next, there is an Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brother on a Flying Platform that throws hammers left and right while the Flying Platform swoops left and right. You can hit the platform from below to defeat the Hammer Bro, or Yoshi or Mario can stomp the Hammer Bro to defeat it. Get on the Flying Platform to reach the ledge on the right, or if you're not on Yoshi, run onto the Triangular Block on the right to run up the wall. If you're Caped Mario, you can fly from here to reach a cloud platform up above, where there are nine coins, and a Gray Block that will give you a 1-Up Mushroom if you go counterclockwise around it. If you're on Yoshi and you don't get the 1-Up Mushroom, try dismounting first.

Below the left side of the cloud platform, there is a red Koopa Troopa and a blue Koopa Troopa on a slope. If you kick the red Koopa Shell and let it hit the blue Koopa Troopa and all the Goombas and Flying Goomba down below, you get a 1-Up.

The middle Prize Block to the right of that contains a Super Mushroom or Fire Flower. Go up through the Blocks on the right and go to the right to get the Dragon Coin. There is a pipe with a Jumping Piranha Plant that you can go down to find a room with red Koopa Paratroopas, six coins, and a Dragon Coin that you can get by stomping the red Paratroopas. Go through the pipe on the right to be launched from a diagonal pipe.

To the right of the diagonal pipe, there is another Amazing Flyin' Hammer Bro, a pipe, and the Midway Gate.

After a Red Berry and a gap, there is a Flying Goomba in a ditch with a Prize Block that contains a Yoshi Egg, then there is a ditch with two Flying Goombas and a Dragon Coin, followed by a ditch that just has a Flying Goomba in it.

Next, there is a Roulette Block that you can hit to get a power-up. The power-up will keep changing after you knock it out of the Roulette Block. Then there is another Hammer Bro, with a Red Berry beneath it.

In this area, you will start to see Para-Goombas floating down from above. Go to the right and there are three Flying Goombas with coins and a Dragon Coin above them. In the sky far above the middle ditch, there is a cloud platform with a 3-Up Moon on top. If you're Caped Mario, try to go to the right while getting rid of the three Goombas, then run to the left, and when you have gone into the first ditch, start flying and you should be able to reach the cloud platform.

Back on the ground, there is a Red Berry on a bush, followed by a Flyin' Hammer Brother, and two Para-Goombas that float down near the Hammer Bro. After that, you find the Giant Gate. You can use the Flying Platform to try to cut the tape when it's at the top.

After the Level

This unlocks the path to the east, which leads to #2 Morton's Castle.
