How to Clear Groovy

Go to the right and there is a red Koopa Troopa. You can stomp it and take its shell to the right to kick it at the Prize Block, which contains a Yoshi Egg. Get the Dragon Coin on the right.

There is a Red Berry that you can go to the left to get if you wish, then go back to the right and get the two Red Berries after the Brown Block where the Yoshi's Egg was.

Then there are slopes that an unshelled Koopa Troopa slides down. After that, there is one of each color of Koopa Troopa. If Yoshi eats the one with the green shell, he can just spit it out at enemies. If Yoshi eats the red one, he will spit flames when he spits it out. If Yoshi eats the blue one, Yoshi will grow wings and be able to fly until he eventually swallows the shell. If Yoshi eats the yellow one, he will make the ground shake whenever he lands, and will create dust clouds to the left and right. The dust clouds can defeat nearby enemies.

After that, eat the Red Berries on the bush (if you aren't keeping one of the shells in Yoshi's mouth), and then there is a Pokey. It will keep moving toward you until you eat all of its segments.

To the right, there is a coin, and a Jumping Piranha Plant coming out of the shrubs. Then there is a gap with a Gray Block above it, and a Volcano Lotus on top of the Gray Block.

Then there is a Roulette Block with a power-up that keeps changing even after you hit the block, followed by another Jumping Piranha Plant coming from the shrubs.

Next, there are a bunch of Pokeys, two Volcano Lotuses on Gray Blocks above the ground and a Volcano Lotus on the ground beneath the second Gray Block, a Dragon Coin, and shrubs with Red Berries and one Pink Berry. If Yoshi eats two Pink Berries, he will lay an egg that creates a Yoshi Cloud, which floats to the right and drops Bonus Coins. If you collect all the cloud's Bonus Coins, you get a 1-Up.

After this area, there is a Jumping Fire Piranha Plant coming from a pipe. It spits out two fireballs to the side when it is near the top of its jump. After that, there is a Dragon Coin.

Next, there is a Red Berry and a Pink Berry, so Yoshi can create a Yoshi Cloud, but beware of the big wall of Pokeys on the hills to the right. Jump to the top hill and try to quickly eat the uppermost Pokey so you can get past.

Then there is a Jumping Piranha Plant in a very tall pipe, then a slope that you will slide down if you don't keep moving, and a Confused Chuck throwing baseballs, with a Dragon Coin above him.

Then there is a Red Berry, two Pokeys, a Volcano Lotus on the ground, and a Dragon Coin above the Volcano Lotus. After that, there are two Confused Chucks on pipes, followed by the Giant Gate.

After the Level

The path to the west will unlock and you can go to Mondo.
