How to Clear Lemmy's Castle

Magikoopas will appear in this area and shoot magic at you. You can make them shoot magic at the Blocks in the floor to turn them into yellow Koopa Troopas or other objects. Once you are on the lower level, make your way to the right, but avoid the Lava Bubbles that jump up from the gaps in the Blocks, and make sure not to fall through any holes created by the Magikoopas.

To the right, there is a Prize Block that contains a Cape Feather.

Next, there is an area of water with some floating platforms, and some Blocks above the water. A Magikoopa will randomly appear and shoot magic at you. One of the Blocks has a P Switch on it. Pick up and carry the P Switch, then go to the right and stand on the solid ground to the right of the water. Collect the three coins on the right side of the door, put the P Switch down and step on it. Then go through the door. If you aren't able to do this, you can go to the right, through an area with Lava Bubbles and lava pits, and go through the door on the right.

If you went through the door over the water, there is a Midway Gate and a Block that you can hit to get a 1-Up Mushroom.

Go to the right, and there are blocks that move up and down from the lava. Stand on the blocks and jump on the tallest point, then jump to the right before the blocks slide down and make you fall in the lava.

Stomp or ignore the Dry Bones, then go to the right when the sliding blocks move up. Avoid the Lava Bubble that jumps out of the lava pit, and jump onto the platform with the Dry Bones.

To the right, wait for the blocks to slide upward, then jump onto them and go to the right, and avoid the Lava Bubble on the right. If you aren't able to make it to the right side before the blocks start sinking down, you can get into the small room in the upper part of the sliding blocks.

Go to the right where there is another Dry Bones, then when the blocks on the right start sliding down, jump across them to a stationary platform with a Lava Bubble after it.

When the blocks slide up, go to the right, and you can optionally get the Super Mushroom. Jump up out of the Super Mushroom room and go to the right, and when the blocks slide down, stay still on the sliding block that stays above the lava. When the blocks start sliding up again, go to the right, and jump off on the stationary platform on the right.

To the right, there is Lava Bubble, followed by a Dry Bones. After that, when the sliding blocks move down, you can go through the tunnel to reach a stationary tunnel up above with some Dry Bones in it. Then when the sliding blocks slide up, you can go through the tunnel on the right to reach another tunnel.

Jump over the lava pit, and if you have visited the Green Switch Palace, you can hit the Green Block to get a Cape Feather.

Then go through the door to face the boss of the castle.

Lemmy Koopa

Throughout the battle, a Lava Bubble bounces around the room. Don't let it hit you. Lemmy will appear in a pipe, but two Decoys will appear in two other pipes. If you stomp a Decoy, nothing bad will happen, but you won't get any closer to defeating Lemmy. Try to stomp Lemmy whenever he appears, and don't walk into Lemmy or the Decoys from the side, or you will get hurt. After you stomp Lemmy three times, he will be defeated.

After the Level

There will be a cutscene, then the path to the south will be unlocked. You will be asked if you want to save the game. Then you can go down the pipe to reach Cheese Bridge Area.
