How to clear Cookie Mountain in Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy Advance.

How to Clear Cookie Mountain
There is an unshelled Koopa that slides down the slope on the right, and two Monty Moles that pop out of the ground and chase you.
After that, there are three coins over a gap. Then there is a platform of Prize Blocks, and there is a Sumo Brother on top of them. When the Sumo Brother stomps its foot, it sends down a bolt of lightning that turns into a growing wall of flame. If you're far enough away, the wall of flame won't reach you. You can't defeat the Sumo Brother by stomping on him, but you can defeat him by hitting a Block that it is standing on.
The bottom row of Prize Blocks just contains one coin each, but the Prize Block above that contains a Cape Feather.
After the row of Prize Blocks, there is a Monty Mole that pops up out of the ground.
After a gap, there are several slopes with unshelled Koopas that slide down them. Above those slopes, there is a Dragon Coin and two coins. There is a red shell in the corner beneath the slopes.
If you're not Caped Mario and you don't have a Blue Yoshi, skip this paragraph. If you're Caped Mario, you can get on the ground and fly to the right, then glide to the right to reach a pipe. If you have Blue Yoshi, you can eat the red shell, then fly up to the top of the pipe. You can't go down the pipe, so get on the cloud platform on the right and go to the right without jumping. You will get a 1-Up Mushroom. At this point, you can skip some of the level by falling off the right side of the cloud platform, but you'll need to backtrack if you want a Dragon Coin (beneath some Jump Blocks with two Sumo Brothers on them) and three coins (above a gap to the left of a hill full of Monty Moles). Then go back to the right until you're past the row of Jump Blocks. Skip to After the Jump Blocks on this page.
If you're not Caped Mario and you don't have a Blue Yoshi, go to the right, where there are several hills with Monty Moles that jump out of the sides and the ground. You need to reach the bottom level to be able to go to the right.
When you reach the gap, run and jump over it to get the three coins, and then you will encounter a hill full of Monty Moles. After that, there is a pipe with a Jumping Piranha Plant (but it might not appear if there are too many other enemies on screen).
Then, after a gap, there is a long row of Jump Blocks, with two Sumo Brothers on top. There is also a Monty Mole that hops out of the ground near the end of the Jump Blocks. Try to get the Dragon Coin and go past the Jump Blocks.
After the Jump Blocks
After you go past the Jump Blocks, you find a Jumping Piranha Plant in a pipe, and the Midway Gate.
Then there is a hill where Monty Moles pop out of the side. This is followed by a row of Blocks. Hit the third Block from the left to make a Beanstalk appear. Climb it and get the Dragon Coin at the top, then jump left without pressing up, to land on the hill. Hit the Block there to get a 1-Up Mushroom.
Then go back to the right and fall down to the ground. To the right, there is a pipe that you can go down, but it takes you back to an earlier part of the level. There are coins and a 1-Up Mushroom that you can get if you go down the pipe, however. If you don't want to go down the pipe, skip this paragraph. If you do go down the pipe, if you're Caped Mario you can use spin attacks to get rid of the Porcu-Puffers in the water. Go to the left and get the coins, then go up the pipe at the end. Get on the cloud platform on the right and go to the right without jumping. You will get a 1-Up Mushroom. If you fall off the right side of the cloud platform, you will end up near the end of the Jump Blocks, so go back to After the Jump Blocks on this page if you need help getting back to the pipe you went down.
From the pipe, go to the right, and there is a Monty Mole that pops out of the ground. There are two Jump Blocks and a Prize Block to the right. The Prize Block contains a Yoshi's Egg. If you have been to the Red Switch Palace, there will be blocks beneath the Prize Block so you can it them from beneath. If not, you can hit the Prize Block if you're Caped Mario by bouncing on the jump blocks and doing a spin attack.
After that, there are Monty Moles that pop out of several hills. The tallest hill has a Dragon Coin above it.
Next, there is a Pink Berry, then a gap, then another Pink Berry. If Yoshi eats both Pink Berries, he will lay an egg that turns into a Yoshi Cloud. The cloud will float to the right, dropping Bonus Coins. If you get all ten Bonus Coins that the cloud drops, the Yoshi Cloud will drop a 1-Up Mushroom and fly away.
Back where the second Pink Berry was, there is a Roulette Block. If you're Caped Mario, you can hit it with a spin attack to make the item come out. The item will keep changing into a different item until you collect it.
Next, there are three pipes, and the middle pipe has a Jumping Piranha Plant. Then there is a Dragon Coin between two gaps. If you have been to the Green Switch Palace and the Red Switch Palace, the gaps will be covered with Blocks.
Then there are two Sumo Brothers on top of two rows of Prize Blocks. The upper Sumo Brother's lightning will land on the lower row of Prize Blocks. Hit the Blocks that they are on top of to defeat them. In the bottom row, the third Block from the left contains a Cape Feather.
Go to the right and you will find a Chargin' Chuck that jumps high in the air to the left and right. There is a Block that contains one coin, then a pipe, and then the Giant Gate.
After the Level
The path to the south will unlock, and you can go to #4 Ludwig's Castle.
