How to Clear Chocolate Island 1

To the right, there is a Dino-Rhino. It walks slowly and tries to chase you. If you stomp on it, it turns into a small Dino-Torch, which can breathe fire horizontally and vertically. Make sure not to jump on the flames if you try to stomp it.

As you go to the right, a Dino-Torch will come down from the slope. Use the slopes to reach the top of the ledge on the right.

Stomp or jump over the Dino-Torch on top of the ledge, then walk past the bush on the left side of the ledge to make a Super Mushroom come out.

To the right, there is another Dino-Rhino, followed by two coins, and three Dino-Torches.

After that, there are two coins, a Flying Prize Box that contains a Fire Flower, and a Dino-Rhino.

Next, there are two Dino-Torches, followed by two coins, a Dino-Torch that comes down from the slope, and a Jumping Piranha Plant in a pipe. Go up the slope, then get the Dragon Coin.

Just after the Dragon Coin, go down the pipe and you will be launched out of the diagonal pipe next to it. You'll land near a Dino-Rhino.

Go to the right and use the Jumping Board to go through the Midway Gate.

Next, there is a P Switch. When you step on it, the Clappin' Chuck will fall down to your level. You can stomp or ignore the Clappin' Chuck, then use the Brown Blocks to go past the Munchers in the ground.

To the right, go up the slopes to get the Dragon Coin and reach the ledge on the right, then go to the right and you will encounter a Dino-Rhino and two Dino-Torches, as well as a Flying Prize Block that contains a Fire Flower, but try not to hit it when it is too far off the ground for you to jump on it. To the right, there is another Dino Torch.

After a gap, there is a Dragon Coin, and a Prize Block that contains a Yoshi Egg. Then there is a pipe with a Jumping Piranha Plant, two coins, a Dino-Torch, and an empty pipe.

If you have been to the Yellow Switch Palace, there will be a Yellow Block that you can jump on top of to get a Dragon Coin. If you have also been to the Blue Switch Palace, there will be a platform beneath the Yellow Block so that you can hit to get a Super Mushroom.

After that, there is another pipe with a Jumping Piranha Plant, a Dino-Rhino, and another pipe before a gap. You can go down the pipe, but before you do, you can optionally get the three coins if you have been to the Red Switch Palace to make a platform there, or if you're Caped Mario, but watch out for the Dino-Torch near the coins, and another Dino-Torch that jumps over the pipe on the right.

Then, if you don't want to go down the pipe to the optional area, there is a Jumping Piranha Plant in the pipe after the gap, and a shorter pipe after that. Go down the shorter pipe, and skip the rest of this paragraph. If you do go down the pipe before the three coins, you reach an optional area with a Block that you can hit to get a 1-Up Mushroom, and a lot of dolphins that bounce from right to left. Hop along the dolphins and avoid hitting the Porcu-Puffers in the water, and get the coins as you go to the right side of the area. Go up the pipe at the end.

You will be launched to the right, but you will need to hold both the jump button and the run button to be able to reach the red Koopa Paratroopa on the right. Continue holding the jump button to bounce off of the red Paratroopa and you should land on the ledge on the right. Use the Jumping Board to reach the Dragon Coin, then you can take the Jumping Board to the right and use it to help you hit the Giant Gate.

After the Level

The path to the west unlocks and you can go to Choco Ghost House.
