After you pass through Kakariko Village, you reach Eldin Volcano Trail on your way to the Eldin Volcano Rift.

Eldin Volcano Trail

North of Kakariko Village, you find the Eldin Volcano Trail. You can either go east or west. First, go east. At the end of the path, create a Bombfish and pick it up and hold it in front of the broken part of the wall. Go into the cave and open it to get 6 monster fangs.

Go back out and go west. Defeat the yellow caterpillar-like monsters and learn the Mini-Moldorm echo.

Go to the west part of this area to find a cave. Go in.

First Eldin Volcano Trail Cave

Go west and defeat the Beetles. The Crawltula echoworks well. Be sure to destroy the Beetle Mounds on the northwest and southwest parts of the platform as well.

Go west through the door, then get through the Beetles and destroy the Beetle Mound. Then open the chest to get 5 rocktatoes.

Go south to exit the cave.

Climb Walls and Find a Waypoint

Go south and climb on the rock walls. As you go west on the walls, you encounter slugs. Defeat one and learn the Torch Slug echo.

When you reach the west side of the rock walls, you find an enemy fortification. Defeat the lizard-like enemies. Learn the Lizalfos echo. After they're all gone, open the chest to get 3 might crystals.

Then go up the ramp until you can reach the waypoint.

Southwest of the waypoint, there is a broken wall where you can use a Bombfish to open a cave. Go in. Open the chest to find a Fairy Flower. This is an accessory that you can equip to have a chance of finding fairies when you cut grass or other plants.

Exit the cave and go south to find a Stamp Stand.

Then warp back to the waypoint to the north. Go north and climb up the rock wall, then start to go east. You need to either block the hot air vents with fireproof echoes (such as boulders) or use echoes to go over them, such as using water blocks to go far up enough to jump to the other side. The hot air vents will turn water blocks into steam, so don't put them in front of the air vents.

When you get past the two air vents, large rocks will start falling from above, so watch out for shadows of falling objects. Go east past another pair of air vents, then keep going east to find a cave entrance. Go in.

Second Eldin Volcano Trail Cave

Don't get too close to the monster in the cave, because it will blow air to push you back. Defeat the monster and learn the Ghirro echo.

You can cover the air vent with echoes to reach the other side, or create a flying monster echo and pick it up, then get in the air vent and glide to the other side.

Defeat the Ghirro, then go north to the air vent and float up to the ledge. Go to the left side and make some echoes so you're standing near the ceiling. Then make a flying monster echo and pick it up to glide to the treasure chest, which contains a monster stone. Use a flying monster echo to glide south to the first air vent. Go back east.

There are torches beneath the rock wall to the east. Create a Ghirro, but not too close to the torches, and hold ZL to target the torches to make the Ghirro blow them out. Then climb east on the wall and go south to exit the cave.

Reach Goron City

Go east to the rock walls and make your way up them by jumping across the gaps. At the top, go east and check on the waypoint.

To the east, there is a Stamp Stand, and a hot spring that you can stand in to recover hearts.

Go into Goron City and approach the Goron near the entrance, and there will be a cutscene. Go into the building where the Goron went. After the cutscene, check on the glowing spot to have Tri open an entrance, then check on the entrance to go into Stilled Goron City.
