Jabul Ruins

After you enter the Stilled Jabul Waters and explore the area, you find the Jabul Ruins.

Add a Waypoint

Check on the waypoint to add it to your map. Then go north, and there will be a cutscene.

Find Another Route

Go downward and to the left in the water and bind to the large boulder, and swim to the right to pull it out of the way. Go through the opening where the boulder was.

Go down and to the left, to where there is another boulder. Bind to it and pull it up and to the right, and set it on the ledge. Then swim downward through the opening where it was. Swim in front of the bubbles to refill your dive meter, then try to swim to the right. There will be a cutscene.

Swim Away from the Whirlwind

Swim to the right to stay away from the whirlwind. You can press R to spin, which makes you go a little faster. Stay in the bottom half of the area, where the path is straighter, but beware of the Sand Crab and Tangler. Swim in front of the bubbles to refill the dive meter.

Continue swimming to the right. There are some wooden boxes in the way. Create a Bombfish to destroy them (press R to spin if the Bombfish doesn't activate). You don't get hurt by Bombfish that you create, so there is no need to swim away from it. Then keep going to the right. Avoid the Biris and the Sea Urchin, and swim in front of the bubbles.

There is a boulder in the way, so bind to it, then push it to the right, and release it as soon as it's past the edge of the ledge. Swim toward the upper-right, and go up the ladder.

Add a Second Waypoint

Go west and up the stairs in the north wall. Go west and check on the waypoint to add it to your map.

Activate the First Spout

Go through the door in the north wall. There will be a cutscene. Step on the button to pour water out of the corresponding spout in the north wall.

Get the Dungeon Map

Go to the east and go down the ladder. Use water blocks to go to the right. Defeat the Needlefly and go to the right. Stand in front of the chest and open it to get the Dungeon Map.

Activate the Second Spout

Go downward in the water, and try to avoid the Bombfish or destroy them with underwater monster echoes or swordfighter form. Then go to the right, go in front of the bubbles to refill the dive meter, then make your way upward through the next area, while dodging or defeating the Bombfish. Create a water block to get out of the water, then go up the ladder.

Go to the east wall and dive downward, then go east to go through the hole in the bars. Defeat enemies as needed. You want to reach the northwest corner of the room, and there are multiple ways to do so. You can either break the wooden box underwater in the north wall and go through, then use water blocks to go up the steps on the left, or you can use water blocks to reach the northeast ledge, and use water blocks to reach the wooden walkway along the north wall, then go west and use water blocks to go up the stairs. Then open the chest to get 50 rupees.

Then use water blocks to go east onto the wooden walkway, and create water blocks on top of the rope so you don't have to worry about falling off. Go to the wooden platform south of the rope, then go west through water blocks across the west rope. Go up the stairs at the end.

Defeat the crabs above and below the water, and the doors will open. Go through the northwest door.

Step on the switch to activate another spout in the main room.

Activate the Third Spout

Fall into the hole in the northwest part of the room. You will end up in the underground area where you were earlier. Go west and up the ladder.

Then go to the west side of the room and go down the ladder.

Swim down and to the left, in front of the bubbles and the glowing coral. Then defeat the Tangler Lv. 2 on the right. Go downward from there, swim in front of the bubbles to refill the dive meter, then swim in front of the glowing coral. Go to the left and defeat the next Tangler Lv. 2,

Use the bubbles on the left to refill the dive meter, and swim in front of the glowing coral, then defeat the Bio Deku Baba on the left (you can bind to its head and pull on it) and learn the bio deku baba echo.

Swim upward, where there are bubbles to refill your dive meter, then swim along the winding path where there are some Bio Deku Babas, some Tangler Lv. 2s, and some Biris. After the Biris, go down and to the right, defeat the Bio Deku Baba, and swim to the right, in front of a chest. Open it to get 100 rupees.

Swim to the left, then make your way up and to the left, past another Bio Deku Baba. Go up to find a ladder. Go up the ladder.

Go down into the water, swim south of the torch, then bind to the torch and hold the B button to bring it up above the water. Put it down on the ground. Then use an Ignizol or Brazier echo to light the four torches. The door will open. Go through.

Step on the switch to activate another water spout in the main room. The central jet of water is going high enough that you can reach the bridge above it.

Get the Big Key

Fall down the hole in the northeast corner of the room. You end up in the underground area where you were earlier. Go up the ladder on the right.

Go to the water in the middle part of the room and stand in the jet of water to be pushed up to the bridge above.

Go east and go down the ladder.

Go down to the bubbles at the bottom left. Then bind to the piece of wood on the right to push it to the right. Go down to the bottom and swim in front of the chest, then open it to get a golden egg.

Swim in front of the air bubbles, then go back up until you're above where the piece of wood was. Go to the right and push the next piece of wood out of the way. Go down below and swim in front of the bubbles.

Then go to the right and bind to the boulder and pull it to the left, and drop it on the solid ground. Then when the piece of wood floats upward, bind to the lower piece of wood and push it down and to the right. Create a Bombfish above the broken block, and press R to spin to activate the Bombfish if it wasn't activated.

Swim down through the tunnel where the broken block was, then swim down and around to reach the Big Chest. Walk in front of it and open it to get the Big Key.

Activate the Fourth Spout

Go back up to where you bombed the broken block, then go to the right and swim in front of the bubbles while avoiding the Bombfish. Then go up and defeat the Biris, then keep going up, and use a Bombfish to destroy the wooden boxes above you so you can go above the water and refill the dive meter.

Then go to the right and use a Bombfish on the wooden boxes or just bind to them to pull them out of the way. Then go through where the boxes were, and go up. Swim in front of the bubbles, then keep going up to reach the next room.

You have to defeat a lot of underwater enemies. Try using an underwater monster echo, such as a Chompfin, to defeat some of the enemies. You can also switch to swordfighter form to fight them. After they're gone, the door will open. Go underwater to go through the door in the west wall.

Defeat the two Bio Deku Babas, then create a heavy echo, like a boulder, on top of the button. You will need to float slightly higher than the level of the button to make sure that your echo has enough room to be created. There will be a cutscene.

Activate the Fifth Spout

Dive down into the hole in the northwest corner of the room. Bind to the piece of wood above the big boulder and move it to the right and up. Swim in front of the bubbles if needed, then move the big boulder up and to the right. Swim down through the hole that was under the boulder.

Swim to the left and up, then go up the ladder.

Go west, using the jet of water to reach the west side if needed. Then go through the west door.

Get on a floating piece of wood on the leftmost side of the area. Beware of Octoroks on the right. As soon as you reach the ledge on the left, jump up onto it. If you fall into the waterfall instead, you just start back at the beginning of this room.

From the ledge, you can create boulders to sink down into the water. You can walk across them to avoid getting pushed south. Be sure to jump on top of pieces of wood so they don't push you south. Keep making boulders to walk north. Beware of the Tektite to the north. Use a trampoline or other echo to reach the ledge. Go through the door.

There are many glowing switches in this room. You have to hit them all to close their eyes. You can create wooden boxes in the water to help you reach the switch on the middle platform and press R to spin and hit that switch. Then you can use a monster echo, or an arrow while using swordfighter form, to hit the northeast switch. You can create an underwater monster echo and hold ZL to target the underwater switch. You can use a flying monster echo or an arrow in swordfighter form to hit the southwest switch (use wooden box echoes to reach it if needed).

Then go to the northern ledge where the closed door is. Use water block echoes to reach the left ledge. Make sure the first water block is on top of the ledge in front of the door. Then you can create an echo, such as a rock or a Caromadillo, and pick it up and throw it at the boxes to break them and hit the switch. The door will open. Go through.

You need to defeat the Tektites in this room to open the door. Use a monster echo or swordfighter form to defeat them. Then go through the east door.

Step on the switch and there will be a cutscene. The jet of water in the main room will go all the way up to the Big Door.

Go to the Big Door

Fall down the hole in the northeast corner, then go through the door on the right. Walk into the jet of water to be pushed up to the Big Door. Unlock it and go through. Get the floating energy, then get into the water and hold the A button to dive down. There will be a cutscene. Then you will battle Vocavor.
