Atop Eldin Mountain, you make your way past lava and monsters to reach the Rock-Roast Quarry in search of the elders.

Explore the Rock-Roast Quarry

When you enter the Rock-Roast Quarry, there will be a cutscene. Afterward, go north where Darston went, avoid or defeat the Fire Octoroks and the Tweelus. Go west, and jump over the small gap in the lava. Keep following the path, jumping over lava, until you reach Darston. There will be a cutscene.

Before you continue, go south and open the chest to get 5 rocktatoes.

Then go north and learn the Rock Roast echo. Then use echoes to be able to pick up one of the Rock Roasts, then carry it back the way you came. Throw it over the gaps and pick it up again after you jump over. Then place it in front of the Gorons near the exit of the quarry. Then go back and get one more Rock Roast and do the same thing. There will be a cutscene.

If you haven't cleared the Lizalfos Burrow, do that next. Otherwise, return to Goron City to learn more about the Crater Shortcut.
