A soldier at the gate of Hyrule Castle Town thinks one of the soldiers is an echo, and asks you for help.

Where to Start the Quest

Complete the quest "Still Missing", then talk to the soldier at the southern gate of Hyrule Castle Town to start the quest.

How to Complete the Quest

Talk to the soldiers around town, and one of them says to talk to the soldier on the western ramparts. You can use echoes to get on top of the western wall, and talk to the soldier there. He says to check at the Barracks. You will find the Barracks to the west of the bird weathervane in town. Go in and talk to the soldier, and ask about missing equipment.

After the cutscene, go out through the south door of the building, then go south to the well. Next to the well, there is a soldier whose lance doesn't have a lance point. Go back into the barracks and say you found a soldier with missing equipment, then say "Near the well". Then say "the lance" was the damaged equipment. There will be a cutscene.

You receive a Golden Egg for completing the quest.
