A man in Suthorn Village asks you to find a flying plant in Suthorn Forest.

Where to Start the Quest

Start the quest by talking to the man in front of the southwest house in Suthorn Village, after you defeat the boss of Suthorn Ruins.

How to Complete the Quest

Warp to the waypoint just south of the Suthorn Ruins, and go south from there to fall off of a cliff into a pool of water. Enter the cave with the torches next to the door. Go north to find the flying plant. If you use swordfighter form, you can raise your shield to block the spinning spikes on the base of the plant. Hit the plant when its spikes are spinning quickly. Or you can try to create Ignizols to burn the flying plant. When it's gone, check the shimmering, floating monster to learn the Peahat echo.

When you have learned the echo, create one in front of the man in Suthorn Village, and there will be a cutscene.

Quest Reward

You get a Might Crystal for completing the quest.
