This page explains how to complete the Shadowbringers Main Scenario Quest "The End of a World".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Illuminated Land.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alisaie in the Tempest to begin the quest.

Investigate the Imposing Doors

Go southeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go to the southeast part of the orange circle on the map and check on the Imposing Doors. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alisaie

Talk to Alisaie to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Gather Information

Go southeast along the ramp bridge until you can go southwest to the westernmost orange circle on the map. Enter the building and speak to the Optimistic Amaurotine.

Go outside and go northeast to the next orange circle on the map. Go to the northwest part of this orange circle and talk to the Anxious Amaurotine.

Go southeast until you can go northwest to the final orange circle on the map. In the building, go to the east side of the orange circle on the map and talk to the Pragmatic Amaurotine.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go southeast to exit the building, then go southwest until you can go northwest to the quest icon on the map. Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Aether Current Quests

With the completion of this quest, you can now start three blue quests, each of which unlocks an Aether Current in the Tempest. The quests are as follows.

• Community Cohesion
• Debate and Discourse
• Responsible Creation

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: A Greater Purpose. There will be a cutscene.
