Follow these steps to renew your Mentor status in Dawntrail, released July 2, 2024.

Overview

Following the release of Dawntrail, Mentors must renew their Mentor Status during the renewal period to avoid losing Mentor status upon the release of patch 7.1. Until a player renews their Mentor status, they will be unable to participate in Duty Roulette: Mentor or change their online status to PvE Mentor, PvP Mentor, or Trade Mentor.

How to Renew Battle Mentor Status

For Disciples of War and Magic (i.e. combat jobs), players must reach a certain point in the Dawntrail main scenario, then complete the level 90 quest "Uncouth Customers" which can be started by talking to Br'uk Evu at Tuliyollal (X:12.4 Y:14.5). After that, players must complete the following to renew mentor status:

• Complete the level 100 Tank Role Quest
• Complete the level 100 Healer Role Quest
• Complete at least one of the level 100 DPS Role Quests:
  • The level 100 Melee DPS Role Quest
  • The level 100 Physical Ranged DPS Role Quest
  • The level 100 Magical Ranged DPS Role Quest

How to Renew Crafter/Gatherer Mentor Status

ForDisciples of Hand and Land (i.e. crafting and gathering jobs), players must complete the following to renew mentor status:

• Reach level 100 with at least one Disciple of the Land
• Reach level 100 with at least one Disciple of the Hand
