Starting the Quest

Talk to Alisaie in Amh Araeng to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Alisaie at the Red Serai

You can either teleport to Mord Souq and go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap, or just go north from the Inn at Journey's Head to the bridge northeast of Mord Souq, then go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Alisaie to proceed.

Speak with Alisaie

Talk to Alisaie to proceed.

Speak with Alisaie in the Ocular

Go southeast to the Aethernet Shard and use it to go to the Dossal Gate, then go east up the stairs and talk to the Crystarium Gatekeep, and say Yes to enter the Ocular. Or if you have not attuned to the Dossal Gate Aethernet Shard, go down the stairs and go south to the Dossal Gate Aethernet Shard. Attune to it, then go east up the stairs and talk to the Crystarium Gatekeep, and say Yes to enter the Ocular.

Talk to Alisaie to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, if you have reached level 71 and you have also completed the series of quests that begins with In Search of Alphinaud, you can talk to the Crystal Exarch to accept the next quest: The Lightwardens. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.
