While your friends hold off Regula's troops, you make your way to the Delta Quadrant of Azys Lla.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Close Encounters of the VIth Kind.

Starting the Quest

Talk to the Guidance Node to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Seek out Midgardsormr's Child

Go southwest, and look for where a stream is coming from a tunnel to the northwest. Go through that tunnel and continue northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. There are ramps up to the area where with the quest icon on the map. Look northeast before you check on the sparkling Destination. Then check on it to complete the quest, and there will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Unlock Flying in Azys Lla

"Fetters of Lament" is the final quest for unlocking Aether Currents in Azys Lla. You can now fly in Azys Lla.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, you will need to be at least level 60 to proceed to the next quest. After you reach level 60, fly upward to Z 8.2 (check below the minimap to see your current Z-coordinate) and then fly to the quest icon on the map. Talk to the Guidance Node there to accept the next quest: Heavensward.
