The Guidance Node warns you of the intruders in the area as it prepares to lead the way to the Delta Quadrant.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Chimerical Maintenance.

Starting the Quest

Talk to the Guidance Node in the Gamma Quadrant of Azys Lla to begin the quest. To reach it from Alpha Quadrant, use the Matter Conduit II-III that is east of the Helix Aetheryte, then go to the the eastern area of Beta Quadrant and use the Matter Conduit IV-V.

Speak with Estinien

Go south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Estinien and there will be a cutscene.

Speak with the Guidance Node

The path to the west is blocked, so you will need to go southeast, then turn southwest when possible. Farther ahead, you can go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go toward the west side of the orange circle to find the Guidance Node in a purple circle. Enter the circle and try to talk to the Guidance Node, then defeat the 2nd Maniple Medicus, followed by the 2nd Maniple Triarius. After that, defeat the two 2nd Maniple Veles that attack. After that, defeat the 2nd Maniple Medicus, then the 2nd Maniple Bestiarius, then the 2nd Maniple Triarius.

Speak with the Guidance Node Again

There will be a glow around the Guidance Node, indicating an instanced battle. Check on it and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: Close Encounters of the VIth Kind

Attack Regula until additional enemies appear. Defeat the additional enemies, then resume attacking Regula.

Regula will create blue flame puddles on the ground. Avoid standing on them, or you will be inflicted with a Bleeding status.

Sometimes Regula will create an X in the air. Eventually Regula will cast Terminus Est, which makes the X shoot forward in the direction that it is bending toward. Avoid being in front of the X or you will take damage. Later, Regula will create three Xs before casting Terminus Est, so be sure to avoid being in front of any of the three Xs.

Main Ceruleum Tanks will be dropped into the area. You can hit them with an attack to knock them away from you. Try to knock them out of the battle area, but be aware that they will still damage you if you are near them when they explode, even if they are outside of the ring.

After you bring down Regula's HP, there will be a cutscene.

Speak with the Guidance Node Once More

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to the Guidance Node to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to the Guidance Node to accept the next quest: Fetters of Lament. There will be a cutscene.
