This page explains how to complete the level 87 Endwalker quest "Words without Sound".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Hunger in the Garden.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Emet-Selch in Elpis to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Search for Meteion

Go to the southeast edge of the orange circle on the map and check on the sparkling Suspicious Disturbance.

Search for Meteion Beneath the Hungering Gardens

Go southeast down the slope until you can go to the orange circle on the map. Go to the northeast edge of the orange circle on the map and check on the sparkling Suspicious Disturbance. There will be a cutscene.

Search for Meteion North of the Hungering Gardens

Go northeast until you can go northwest up the slope. At the top of the slope, go north until you can go east to the orange circle on the map. Go to the east side of the orange circle and go south of the tree there, and check on the sparkling Suspicious Disturbance.

Search for Meteion East of the Hungering Gardens

Go southeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go to the south part of the orange circle on the map and check on the sparkling Suspicious Disturbance. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Hermes

Talk to Hermes to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Hythlodaeus to accept the next quest: Follow, Wander, Stumble, Listen.
