This page explains how to complete the level 87 Endwalker quest "Hunger in the Garden".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest A Flower upon Your Return.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Hytholodaeus in Elpis to begin the quest.

Travel from Easterly Boreneus to Euroneus

Go southeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Check on the Passage to Misopses Euros and say Yes to proceed.

Speak with Hythlodaeus

Go to the quest icon and talk to Hythlodaeus to proceed.

Search for Hermes in the Hungering Gardens

Go east, up the ramp, to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Defeat the Riotous Morbol and the Riotous Medusa that attack. Go to the northeast part of the orange circle on the map, defeating any more Riotous Morbols and Riotous Medusae that attack, as well as any Morbol Marquis that attack. At the northeast part of the orange circle, talk to Hermes to proceed.

Speak with Hythlodaeus Again

Go west to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap and talk to Hythlodaeus to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Emet-Selch to accept the next quest: Words without Sound. There will be a cutscene.
