Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Two Sides of a Coin.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Bloeidin at Camp Overlook in Outer La Noscea to begin the quest.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go east to the quest icon on the map and talk to Alphinaud.

Search for the Kobold

Go to the north edge of the orange circle on the map to find the Koboldling. Talk to the Koboldling to proceed.

Pursue the Koboldling

Go to the orange circle on the map. The Koboldling is under the wooden ramp. Talk to the Koboldling to proceed.

Next, go to the east edge of the orange circle on the map. Talk to the Koboldling to proceed.

Next, go to the orange circle on the map and go to the east edge to find the Koboldling. Talk to the Koboldling to proceed. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Alphinaud Again

Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Ga Bu to accept the next quest: The Beast That Mourned at the Heart of the Mountain.
