This page explains how to complete the level 85 Endwalker quest "Under His Wing".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Simple Pleasures.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Matsya in Thavnair to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Estinien

Go north to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Estinien to proceed.

Speak with Thancred in Radz-at-Han

Go northeast to enter Radz-at-Han. Go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap and talk to Thancred to proceed.

Search for Townspeople who Missed the Announcement

Use the nearby Aethernet Shard to go to Ruveydah Fibers, then go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to the Hyuran Boy to proceed.

Search for More Townspeople who Missed the Announcement

Go southwest to the orange circle on the map. Talk to the Spooked Youth to proceed.

Wait at the Designated Location

Go southwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap and check on the sparkling Destination. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to the Radiant Host Soldier to accept the next quest: At World's End.
