You depart to join the others at the Gridania Airship Landing, from which you will set out together.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Obvious Solution.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Gridania to begin the quest.

Speak with Cid

Use the Aethernet Shard to go to the Airship Landing (or if you haven't attuned to all Aethernet Shards in Gridania, then go to the main Gridania Aetheryte, go south and enter the Carline Canopy and go downstairs). Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Cid. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Hida

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Hida. Say Yes to proceed.

Speak with Cid in Mor Dhona

Talk to Cid to proceed.

Speak with Nero

Go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Enter the building and go into the Rising Stones. Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Nero to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Yda to accept the next quest: Fly Free, My Pretty. There will be a cutscene.
