The airship is almost ready for your journey to Azys Lla, and Alphinaud asks you to assist with the final preparations.

This quest is available if you have completed the following two quests:

• Hour of Departure
• My Little Chocobo

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Ishgard to begin the quest.

Speak with Y'shtola

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Y'shtola. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Alphinaud

Talk to Alphinaud. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Cid

Talk to Cid and there will be a cutscene.

Speak with Cid Again

Go east to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. On the way, attune to the Azys Lla Aetheryte. If you forget to attune to it, you can return to Azys Lla via airship from the Athenaeum Astrologicum in Isghard. Then go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Cid to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Cid to accept the next quest: Systematic Exploration. There will be a cutscene.
