Magnai has one more task for you before he will grant you leave to depart.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest For Love of the Moon.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Magnai in the Azim Steppe to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Gosetsu

Go outside and go to the quest icon on the map. Talk to Gosetsu to proceed.

Stand /lookout at the Dusk Throne

Go north and talk to the Oroniri Spearson and say Yes to go down below, then go south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go to the southwest side or northeast side of the Dusk Throne to find a ramp. Go up it and go to the orange circle on the map. Stand in the sparkling spot and type /lookout or /lookout motion (the second one will not display a chat message). There will be a cutscene.

Save the Wounded Hunter

Go west to the orange circle on the map. Dismount and enter the purple circle, then kill the three Railing Manzasiri that appear. Afterward, check on the Wounded Hunter. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Gosetsu Again

Talk to Gosetsu to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Gosetsu to accept the next quest: The Undying Ones.
