This page explains how to complete the level 88 Endwalker quest "Outside Help".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest As the Heavens Burn.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Lucia in Garlemald to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Urianger

Talk to Urianger to proceed.

Return to the Main Hall

Go down the nearby stairs and make your way north. Use the nearest Aethernet Shard to go to the Baldesion Annex. Go inside the building and check on the Main Hall Entrance, then say Yes to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with the Rostra Steward

Check on the Main Hall Exit and say Yes to leave the room. Then go outside and use the Aethernet Shard to go to the Rostra. Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to the Rostra Steward to proceed.

Wait at the Specified Location

Go north into the building and continue going north to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Check on the sparkling Destination to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Fourchenault to accept the next quest: Going Underground.
