This page explains how to complete the level 88 Endwalker quest "Going Underground".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Outside Help.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Fourchenault in Old Sharlayan to begin the quest.

Speak with Fourchenault Outside the Archeion

You can either teleport to the Archeion in Labyrinthos, or you can go west until you reach a dead end, then go north and make your way to the end of the path, where you can talk to Nilzozo and say Yes to enter Labyrinthos, then go southeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. At the quest icon, talk to Fourchenault to proceed.

Speak with Fourchenault Again

Go southwest into the building, and go to the back of the building. Talk to Ophilyne and say Yes to proceed. Then, at the quest icon, talk to Fourchenault.

Optional: Labyrinthos Aether Currents

If you did not attune to the two Aether Currents to the west of where you just spoke to Fourchenault, you may wish to attune to them now. Use the Aether Compass (found in Main Menu > Duty > Collection) to help you pinpoint their locations. Check on the Aether Currents to attune to them as you find them.

Speak with Alphinaud

From where you spoke to Fourchenault, go southwest until you can go east along the dirt path, then make your way south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go through the door in the wall that you find there, then go to the quest icon and talk to Alphinaud to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Hester

Go to the quest icon and talk to Hester, and say Yes to proceed.

Speak with Fourchenault Once More

Go to the quest icon and talk to Fourchenault to proceed.

Speak with Kokkol Dankkol

Go southwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. You can optionally go south and use the Aether Compass (found in Main Menu > Duty > Collection) to find a nearby Aether Current. Then go to the quest icon and talk to Kokkol Dankkol to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Krile

Talk to Krile to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: No Job Too Small.
