Old Sharlayan, New To You - Quest Guide

Krile suggests that you explore the city before you reconvene at the Baldesion Annex.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Next Ship to Sail.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Krile in Old Sharlayan to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with G'raha Tia

Talk to G'raha Tia to proceed. He will follow you, and you can speak with him to talk or to part ways. If you get too far away from him, or use an aetheryte, or change areas, you will automatically part ways with him. If you get separated from G'raha, you can find him again at this location.

Speak with Krile

Talk to Krile while G'raha Tia is accompanying you. If he is not accompanying you, be sure to talk to him to have him join you. As before, if you get too far away from them, or use an aetheryte, or change areas, you will automatically part ways with them. If you get separated from them, you can find them again at this location.

Head to the Last Stand

You can optionally go north and stand in the glowing spot nearby, then talk to Krile and G'raha to learn about the storage facility.

Go west and attune to the Scholar's Harbor Aethernet Shard.

There is another optional glowing spot to the west, where you can talk to G'raha and Krile about the giant statue in the harbor.

Then go northwest to the glowing spot on the terrace. Talk to Krile while standing in the glowing spot to proceed.

Head to the Aetheryte Plaza

Go north up the stairs until you reach the aetheryte plaza. Be sure to attune to the Aetheryte. Then stand in the nearby glowing spot and talk to Krile to proceed.

Head to the Agora

You can optionally go west to a glowing spot where you can talk to Krile and G'raha about the Confluence.

Go northeast and you can optionally stand in a glowing spot where you can talk to G'raha and Krile about the book stalls.

Then go northeast to the glowing spot and talk to Krile to proceed.

Head to the Rostra

Make your way to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. There is an optional glowing spot that you can stand in to talk to Krile and G'raha about the water features.

Go north up the stairs from there, stand in the glowing spot, and talk to Krile to proceed.

Head to Journey's End

Before you proceed, go west and attune to the Aethernet Shard. Then go east to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Stand in the glowing spot there and talk to Krile to proceed.

Head to the Baldesion Annex

Before you proceed, go east and attune to the Aethernet Shard. Don't use the Aethernet Shard to go to the Baldesion Annex; if you do, you will lose sight of Krile and G'raha and will need to go back to the Scholars' Harbor and talk to them to reform your party.

With G'raha and Krile, go to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Before you stand in the glowing spot, you may wish to attune to the Aethernet Shard nearby. Then stand in the glowing spot and talk to Krile to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Krile in the Main Hall

You can talk to Ojika Tsunjika any time to enter your room in the Andron, which is like an inn room, with a bed, glamour dresser, etc.

When you are ready to proceed, check on the Main Hall Entrance to the left of Ojika Tsunjika in the Baldesion Annex building, and say Yes to enter the Main Hall. Talk to Krile to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.
