To avoid another long sea voyage, you seek the assistance of the Confluence to reach Thavnair.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Old Sharlayan, New to You.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Thancred in the main hall of the Baldesion Annex in Old Sharlayan to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Kytte

Exit the main hall, then go outside and go north to the quest icon in the minimap. In the Confluence building, talk to Kytte. There will be a cutscene.

Wait at the Aetheryte Plaza

Go outside and go southeast and check on the sparkling Destination. There will be a cutscene.

Search for Estinien

Be sure to attune to the aetheryte. Then go to the southwest edge of the orange circle to find Estinien. You will be afflicted by waves of aether sickness as you go. Talk to Estinien.

/deny to Estinien

Target Estinien and type /deny or /deny motion (the second one will not display a chat message).

From now on, you can talk to Kytte in Old Sharlayan to go to Thavnair for free. You won't get aether sickness from the journey anymore.

Deliver a Bottle of Special Amra Lassi to Urianger

Go north to the quest icon in the minimap and talk to Urianger to hand over the Special Amra Lassi.

Deliver a Bottle of Special Amra Lassi to Thancred

Talk to Thancred and hand over the Special Amra Lassi to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Thancred to accept the next quest: On Low Tide.
