Your next goal is to find a heart for the Talos that Chai-Nuzz wishes to build.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Meet the Tholls.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Tristol in Kholusia to begin the quest.

Speak with the Crystal Exarch

Go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to the Crystal Exarch to proceed. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Xamott

Attune to the Aetheryte, then go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Xamott.

Speak with the Dwarf Observer

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to the Dwarf Observer.

A dwarf will sometimes come out from behind one of the shields. In the practice round, there will only be one dwarf, and they will be wearing the wrong type of helm: a red turban with no horns on it. Zoom in and move the crosshairs over the red-turbaned Dwarf. Follow the on-screen instructions to Execute Shoot.

Speak with the Dwarf Observer Again

Talk to the Dwarf Observer again. This time, make sure not to hit any Dwarves wearing a yellow-green helm with horns. Only hit the one with a red turban that has no horns.

Speak with Xamott Again

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Xamott.

Aether Current Quest

With the completion of this quest, you can now start the blue quest "A Disagreeable Dwarf" in Kholusia. Completing that quest will attune you to an Aether Current in this area.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Xamott to accept the next quest: A-Digging We Will Go. There will be a cutscene.
