This quest is available if you have completed the quest Aetherial Trail.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Gridania to begin the quest.

Speak with Kan-E-Senna

Talk to the Silent Conjurer and say Yes to proceed. Then go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Kan-E-Senna. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Tataru

Talk to Tataru to proceed.

Speak with Y'mhitra

Use the nearby Aethernet Shard to go to either the Lancers' Guild Aethernet Shard or the Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre Aethernet Shard, then go to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Y'mhitra to proceed. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Tataru Again

Talk to Tataru to complete the quest.

After you complete the quest, talk to Tataru to accept the next quest: Tataru's Surprise.
