This page explains how to complete the level 82 Endwalker quest "How the Mighty Are Fallen".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Tracks in the Snow.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Licinia in Garlemald to begin the quest.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go to the quest icon and talk to Alphinaud.

Deliver a Warming Tincture to the Sickly Refugee

Check on the Sickly Refugee and hand over the Warming Tincture.

Deliver a Warming Tincture to the Emaciated Refugee

Check on the Emaciated Refugee and hand over the Warming Tincture.

Deliver a Warming Tincture to the Despondent Refugee

Check on the Despondent Refugee and hand over the Warming Tincture. There will be a cutscene.

Deliver a Warming Tincture to Licinia

Check on Licinia and hand over the Warming Tincture. There will be a cutscene.

Optional: Garlemald Aether Current 2

You can optionally get a nearby aether current. Start by going southwest, then when you reach the pipes, go to the west side of the pipes and go down the metal stairs. Jump from the stairs onto the pipes, and go south until you find the Aether Current. Check on the Aether Current to attune to it.

Optional: Garlemald Aether Current 3

Go southwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go to the southeast part of the orange circle on the map and check on the Aether Current to attune to it.

Speak with the Burly Tapper

In the orange circle on the map, go just south of the center of the orange circle and talk to the Burly Tapper. Defeat the two Burly Tappers that attack.

Head for Tapper's Den

Go into the cave and there will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alisaie

Talk to Alisaie to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Jareck to accept the next quest: At the End of the Trail.
