This quest is available if you have completed the quest Familiar Faces.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Lonu Vanu in the Sea of Clouds (via airship from the Athenaeum Astrologicum in Ishgard) to begin the quest.

Speak with Alphinaud

Talk to Alphinaud to proceed.

Speak with Lonu Vanu

Go north along the narrow slope, then go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Lonu Vanu. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Lonu Vanu Again

Go north and attune to the Aetheryte, then go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Lonu Vanu. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: Black and the White.
