This page explains how to complete the level 80 post-Shadowbringers quest "Beneath the Surface".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest A Whale's Tale.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Urianger in Lakeland to begin the quest.

Speak with Urianger at the Split Hull

Teleport to Wright in Kholusia and go southwest to the quest icon on the map. Talk to Urianger to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Anamnesis Anyder

Use the Duty Finder or Duty Support to enter Anamnesis Anyder. Please see the Anamnesis Anyder Guide for a walkthrough.

After you complete the duty in Anamnesis Anyder and exit the area, there will be a cutscene.

Speak with Y'shtola

Talk to Y'shtola to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Urianger to accept the next quest: Echoes of a Fallen Star. There will be a cutscene.
