This page explains how to complete the level 87 Endwalker quest "A Past, Not Yet Come to Pass".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Travelers at the Crossroads.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Venat in Elpis to begin the quest.

Speak with Venat

Go northwest and attune to the Aetheryte. You can optionally go northeast from the Aetheryte to find an Aether Current. Then go to the quest icon and enter the building. Talk to Venat to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Venat, 2

Talk to Venat to proceed.

Speak with Venat, 3

Go southeast to go outside, then go south to the quest icon on the map and talk to Venat.

Speak with Ismene

Talk to Ismene. There will be an unskippable cutscene. Ask the following questions:

1. What kind of person is Hermes?
2. Do you know of Meteion's abilities?
3. Do you wish you knew him better?

Speak with Venat, 4

Talk to Venat to proceed.

Search for Timaios

Go east to the orange circle on the map and talk to Timaios. There will be an unskippable cutscene. Ask the following questions:

1. What do you think of Chief Hermes's flying creations?
2. Meteion, too, is a marvel, then?
3. Do you know of dynamis and entelechies?

Speak with Venat, 5

Go west to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap and talk to Venat to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Venat to accept the next quest: Witness to the Spectacle.
