The Underkeep - Dungeon Guide

From within the foundation Calyx sends his transmissions, and you must delve into Alexandria's past to ascertain their source.

How to Unlock

The Underkeep, a 4-player dungeon, is unlocked by the level 100 Main Scenario Quest Descent to the Foundation.

Gargant

Chilling Chirp damages all characters.

Almighty Racket is an attack that hits everything in front of the boss.

The boss will become untargetable and crawl along a tube. Watch for it to crawl around in the outer wall, then when it disappears behind a sand shower, don't be in front of that sand shower, because the boss will do a line attack going across the area from behind that sand shower.

Two circle attack markers will appear beside the boss, and the boss will cast Almighty Racket, so get behind the boss and don't step in the circle attack markers.

More circle attack markers will appear, and players will be targeted with circle markers that follow them, so all players should spread apart to avoid overlapping their circles while also avoiding the non-moving circle attack markers.

When the boss casts Earthsong, orbs of sand will appear around the area. These orbs will cast circle attacks centered on themselves, so don't stand near any of the orbs. The boss will crawl on a tube at this time, so keep an eye on it to see when it hides behind a sand shower, and avoid the line attack from that sand shower while also avoiding the circle attacks from the sand orbs.

Trap Jaws is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list.

Later in the battle, Earthsong will create two sets of orbs, one after the other, so after the first circle attacks go off, move to a safe spot in the next set, and also get behind the boss, because it will cast Almighty Racket.

Soldier S0

Field of Scorn damages all players.

Thunderous Slash is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list.

When the boss casts Sector Bisector, it holds its sword either to the left or right. Before it attacks, it splits into multiple copies of itself, but only one of the copies will perform the attack. Watch for the line of electricity that goes from one copy to another. The last copy that is touched by electricity will be the one who performs the attack.

After the first Sector Bisector, the boss will cast Sector Bisector again.

Then the boss casts Ordered Fire, tethering to untargetable electrope around the edge. Make sure not to be in front of any of these, but at the same time, the boss will cast Static Force, which targets each player with cone attack markers that follow them. Players need to spread out within the safe area to avoid overlapping each other with their cone attack markers.

Later, when the boss casts Sector Bisector, while you are watching the line of electricity move from copy to copy, the boss will also cast Electric Excess which marks all players with circle attack markers that follow them. Dodge the Sector Bisector attack first, then spread apart from each other to avoid overlapping each other with your circles.

Valia Pira

Entropic Sphere damages all players.

Coordinate March creates lines on the ground, and the electrope cubes will move along the lines. Whenever a cube reaches a glowing sphere, the cube will perform two line attacks in a cross pattern, so don't be north, south, east, or west of the glowing spheres on the lines.

Next, two untargetable turrets will activate on the edge of the area, and a line of electricity will point out of each. Don't be in front of the lines of electricity, because they will perform line attacks where each line was pointing.

Electric Field places cone-shaped attack markers on the area originating from the boss, but these cone markers will grow larger before the attack goes off, and all players will also be targeted with cone attack markers that follow them and will also grow larger before the attack goes off. Be as far away as possible from the non-moving cone markers, but don't overlap your moving cone marker with other players.

Neutralize Front Lines attacks everything in front of the boss while also marking all players with circle attack markers that follow them. While staying behind the boss, players should spread apart from each other to avoid overlapping each other with their circles.

This time, when the boss casts Coordinate March, one of the glowing spheres will have a line indicating that it will move to a different location. Make sure not to be north, south, east, or west of the new location or the unmarked sphere.

Deterrent Pulse targets a random player with a line stack marker. Unmarked players should stack together in a line with the marked player to reduce the damage of the attack.

The next time the boss casts Coordinate March, there will be three glowing spheres to avoid being north, south, west, or east of, but at the same time, turrets will activate around the edge of the area, so make sure not to be in front of any of them. Keep an eye on the progress of the electrope cubes that float along the lines so you can move as needed to dodge their attacks.

Completing the Quest

Defeating the boss will complete one of the quest objectives for the Main Scenario Quest Descent to the Foundation.
