Brother E-Sumi-Yan instructs you on the method to access King Moggle Mog XII's sanctuary.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Hail to the King, Kupo.

Starting the Quest

Talk to E-Sumi-Yan near the Conjurers' Guild aetheryte in Gridania to begin the quest.

Speak with Kuplo Kopp

Use an aetheryte to go to the Lancers' Guild, and go east to find Kuplo Kopp. Talk to him to proceed.

Speak with Kuplo Kopp at Sweetbloom Pier

Talk to Romarique near where you spoke to Kuplo Kopp, and choose Purchase Passage to Sweetbloom Pier (it's free). Go east and approach the three large moogles. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Kuplo Kopp Again

After the cutscene, talk to Kuplo Kopp to proceed. Kuplo will begin to follow you. He will only move if you do. If he is defeated by enemies or if you go too far away, go back to Sweetbloom Pier (on the west side of the East Shroud) to try again.

Go east and kill the Malevolent Fungus that appears. Go east through the hollow log. Three Malevolent Squirrels will appear at the end of the hollow log. Kill them, then continue going east through the log. At the other end, a Malevolent Galago will attack. Kill it, then continue going east. Two Malevolent Keds will appear, one behind you and one in front. Kill them, then go east until you can start going northeast. Go toward the hollow log, and two Malevolent Seedlings will appear on either side of the southern end of the log, and a Malevolent Stroper will appear at the north end of the log. Kill them all, then go northwest into the clearing. Check on the sparkling Barrier Threshold.

Speak with Kuplo Kopp Once More

Talk to Kuplo Kopp, then check on the Barrier Threshold again. There will be a cutscene.

Thornmarch (Hard)

Use the Duty Finder to enter Thornmarch (Hard). Please see the Thornmarch (Hard) Guide for a walkthrough.

After you defeat the boss and exit the area, there will be a cutscene.

Report to Pukni Pakk

You can fly south and use the exit south of the East Shroud aetheryte to reach the South Shroud. Go southwest from there to reach Camp Tranquil, where you can talk to Pukni Pakk to complete the quest.

After you complete the quest, talk to Raya-O-Senna to accept the next quest: On the Properties of Primals.
