This page explains how to complete the level 85 Endwalker quest "When All Hope Seems Lost".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest That We Might Live.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Matsya in Thavnair to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Yeruvvet

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Yeruvvet to proceed.

Speak with Alisaie

Go south and go up the stairs behind the house. Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Alisaie to proceed.

Search for the Villagers

Go southeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Dismount and enter the purple circle, then defeat the Terminus Pursuer that attacks.

Aid the Villager Woman

Check on the Villager Woman to proceed.

Speak with Matsya

Go southeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Matsya to proceed.

Defeat the Beasts at Purusa

Go to each of the three orange circles on the map and dismount and enter the purple circles at each location. Defeat the enemies that attack there.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.
