After you determine that the trolley is the most likely way to reach Nabaath Areng, you consult with Zhun Zun before you leave.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Free Trade.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Zhun Zun in Amh Araeng to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Thancred

Go west to leave the village, then go south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Thancred to proceed.

Speak with Thancred Again

Go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Thancred to proceed.

Investigate the Area

Go to the northern orange circle on the map. Go to the southeast part of this circle and check on the sparkling Trolley Car.

Go to the southern orange circle on the map and go to the north edge of it. Check on the sparkling Iron Rail to proceed.

Go to the northwest side of the building in the orange circle and go inside. Check on the sparkling Conspicuous Cup to proceed.

Speak with Urianger

Go outside and go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Urianger to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Confront the Suspicious Man

Go southwest to the orange circle on the map. Go to the north edge of the circle (behind the buildings) and check on the Suspicious Man, then defeat him.

Speak with Thancred Once More

Go east to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go behind the tower and talk to Thancred to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Thaffe to accept the next quest: Rust and Ruin.
