Yugiri informs you of Zenos's itinerary, and asks you to search for potential hiding places.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Time between the Seconds.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Yugiri in Yanxia to begin the quest.

Search for a Place to Lie in Wait

Go east to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go inside of the fence in the south part of the orange circle on the map, and check on the sparkling Destination. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Yugiri

There will be a glow around Yugiri, indicating an instanced battle. Check on her and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: The Time Between the Seconds

Zenos sometimes casts Vein Splitter, a circle attack. Move out of the circle to avoid this attack.

Zenos sometimes summons untargetable Lightless Flames around the area. Keep your distance from them to avoid the circle attacks that they cast around themselves.

Zenos sometimes jumps away and casts Lightless Spark, a large cone attack. Run out of the way of this while also avoiding getting close to the Lightless Flames around the area.

Eventually, he will turn his attacks on Yugiri, before eventually casting Unsheathe and turning red.

At this point, he will sometimes cast Art of the Sword, six line attacks centered on Zenos.

If Zenos makes a Dark Reflection appear, kill it first to try to prevent its attack.

Eventually, you will be stunned and down for the count. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Alisaie

Talk to Alisaie to complete the quest.
