After learning of a very interesting rumor in Kugane, you go to visit a certain pawnbroker.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Tidings from the East.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Kugane to begin the quest.

Search for the Master of Shofuku Shichiten

Go southeast to the Aethernet Shard and use it to go to Kogane Dori Markets. Go to the northeast corner of the orange circle on the map and talk to the Pleasant Pawnbroker. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Ume

Use an Aethernet Shard to go to the Kugane Aetheryte Plaza. Go northwest to the quest icon on the map and talk to Ume to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Yugiri to accept the next quest: Hope on the Waves.
