You have arrived at the Ostall Imperative in Lakeland, and Captain Lyna has a task for you.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Logistics of War.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Lyna in Lakeland to begin the quest.

Obtain Treated Fodder

Go south to the quest icon on the map and check on the sparkling Treated Fodder.

Feed the Treated Fodder to the Amaro

Go to the nearby quest icon on the map and check on the Alert Amaro to hand over the Treated Fodder.

Go west and you will need to go up the stone stairs, then up the wooden staircase, to reach the Indolent Amaro at the top of the platform. Check on the Indolent Amaro and hand over the Treated Fodder.

Go northwest to the next quest icon on the map and check on the Anxious Amaro to hand over the Treated Fodder.

Finally, go to the last quest icon on the map and check on the Equable Amaro to hand over the Treated Fodder.

Speak with Lyna

Go east up the stairs and talk to Lyna to proceed.

Speak with the Crystarium Scout

If you have unlocked flying, fly straight up and you will find the quest icon at the top of the northwest tower in the Ostall Imperative. If not, go west down the stairs. To the right, there is a stone ramp between two stone staircases. Go up the stone ramp to reach the very top of the tower.

There will be a glow around the Crystarium Scout, indicating an instanced battle. Check on her and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: The Oracle of Light

Throughout this battle, follow Lyna whenever she moves on to a new area. If there are any Eulmoran Healers, defeat them first, then defeat any Eulmoran Soldiers who are attacking you directly. Then defeat any remaining Eulmoran Soldiers.

Eventually, you and Lyna will go up some stairs and onto a bridge. Approach the soldiers on the bridge and defeat them, then check on the sparkling Bindings. There will be a cutscene. After the cutscene, follow Lyna and there will be another cutscene.

Attack Ran'jit and he will eventually knock your allies out of the battle area.

Hot Pursuit places a circle attack marker beneath you, then another, and so on until the attack subsides. Keep moving out of the circle attack markers to avoid getting hit.

Nexus of Thunder places line attack markers in an X from the center, and then another set of line attack markers at a 45 degree angle from the first. Avoid the line markers to avoid the attack.

Shattered Sky is a high-damage unavoidable lightning attack.

Living Flame creates fireballs around the edge, followed by more fireballs closer to the center. Each fireball will have a circle attack centered around it. Stay where the second fireballs appeared, then move to where the first ones explode.

Ran'jit will send his serpent to a side of the area, and the serpent will perform a knockback attack. Make sure to avoid being knocked into any of the attack markers on the area.

Eventually, Ran'jit will cast Silent Lightning on you, doing high damage and stunning you. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Thancred

Talk to Thancred to complete the quest.
