The House Fortemps Knight asks you to go into the manor, where Alphinaud has something to discuss.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Causes and Costs.

Starting the Quest

Talk to the House Fortemps Knight outside of Fortemps Manor in Ishgard to begin the quest.

Speak with Alphinaud

Talk to the House Fortemps Guard and say Yes to enter Fortemps Manor, then talk to Alphinaud. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Krile

Use the Aethernet Shard to go to the Forgotten Knight Aethernet Shard. Go southeast into the Forgotten Knight, go downstairs, and talk to Krile. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go north and then east through the doors behind Firmalbert. Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: An Ally for Ishgard. There will be a cutscene.
