Trachtoum's boss doubts that he defeated the goobbue as he was hired to do, so the boss will test you and Trachtoum to learn the truth.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Hungry Hungry Goobbues.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Trachtoum to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with the Miller

Go outside to find the Grey Fleet Miller. There will be a glow around him, indicating an instanced battle. Check on him and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: The Lominsan Way

Attack the Large Boulder, and only the Large Boulder.

Trachtoum will try to interfere by casting Paralyze on you. If you are a healer, you can use Esuna to remove the paralysis, or if you have Spine Drops in your inventory, you can use one to remove the paralysis.

Later, Trachtoum will cast Rive, a line attack. Sidestep this to avoid damage.

Eventually, Trachtoum will place a bomb next to his boulder. Ignore it and focus on attacking your Large Boulder. Eventually, there will be a message saying "15 seconds to self-destruct," and you will see another message every five seconds. If you do not destroy your Large Boulder quickly enough, the bomb will explode and you will have to try this instanced battle again.

After you are victorious, there will be a cutscene.

Speak with Wheiskaet in Costa del Sol

Go north to the northeast exit from Lower La Noscea, and you will arrive in Eastern La Noscea. If you went up the wrong path and aren't on the east side of Eastern La Noscea, go south again to Lower La Noscea and use the northeast exit.

Go northeast and attune to the Costa Del Sol Aetheryte, then go east and talk to Wheiskaet to finish the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Wheiskaet to accept the next quest: Nix That.
