You have bestowed your patronage upon Ys Gyuf, who suggests that you speak to Wyd Lad next.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Spore Sweeper.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Wyd Lad in Il Mheg to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Minfilia

Exit the cave, then go southeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Minfilia and there will be a cutscene.

Obtain Vials of Invisible Ink

Go south into the cave and go to the northernmost orange circle on the map. Go to the north edge of the circle and go up the mushroom steps behind the house. At the top, check on the sparkling Invisible Ink.

Go toward the easternmost orange circle on the map. Stay along the north wall and jump up the mushroom steps to reach the eastern ledge. Check on the sparkling Invisible Ink.

Go to the westernmost orange circle on the map, and go to the southeast edge of the circle. Check on the sparkling Invisible Ink.

Speak with Minfilia Again

Go north to exit the cave, then go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Minfilia and there will be a cutscene.

Deliver the Vials of Invisible Ink

You can either teleport to Pla Enni (if you attuned to the Aetheryte there) or you can go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap, and enter the cave. Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Wyd Lad to hand over the Invisible Ink and complete the quest. You will receive three Aetheryte Tickets.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Wyd Lad to accept the next quest: The Elder's Answer.
