Solo Duty: Taking a Stand
You have the following actions:
- Tail of the Br'aax - Use this whenever there is only one opponent.
- Turali Judgement Combo - Use this when there are multiple opponents.
- Luwatena Pulse - Use this after Roar, then use it whenever it is available, to help recover HP.
- Beak of the Luwatena - Use this to deal damage when you're too far away from the opponent to use the standard combo.
- Run of the Rroneek - Use this whenever the opponent casts Lethal Strike, or whenever you need to reach the opponent quickly.
- Dawnlit Conviction - Use this whenever it is available. It becomes available at specific points during the battle.
Roar deals high damage. Use Luwatena Pulse to recover HP afterward.
Lethal Swipe is an attack that hits the entire area except for the area behind the boss. Use Run of the Rroneek to move instantly to the boss, then get behind the boss.
Magicked Standard places orange flame orbs around the area. The boss will then start casting Kickdown, a directed knockback. You will move in the direction that the arrows are pointing. The flame orbs will do large circle attacks centered on themselves, so be knocked back to a location far away from the orbs, then run into a safe spot once the circle attack markers appear.
Fireshower places circle attack markers in random locations. Great Leap is a growing circle attack marker that follows you. Keep running away from Great Leap without stepping in the non-moving circle attack markers and without letting yourself get trapped by the growing circle. When the growing circle stops, and has a red target symbol on it, run into a safe spot to avoid the attack.
Dawnlit Conviction will now be available, so use it as soon as possible.
Magicked Standard will now place green donut torches in addition to the orange circle torches. Stand under a green circle torch, because it will do a donut attack. Note that there is no knockback the first time the green torches appear.
When the boss casts Shadow Siblings, he temporarily becomes untargetable, then four copies of him appear. One of the copies will begin to glow. Stand behind that copy and start attacking him. The glowing copy is the real one, and will do a large attack where the only safe area is behind him.
Dawnlit Conviction will now be available, so use it as soon as possible.
Riotous Rampage places three towers on the area, one after the other. Stand in the first tower to appear, then when it disappears, move to the second, then when it disappears, move to the third.
The next time the boss uses Magicked Standard, there will now be a directed knockback, so make sure to be knocked back into a green donut torch.
Dawnlit Conviction will now be available, so use it as soon as possible.
The next time the boss uses Magicked Standard, the boss will also cast Great Leap, so you will have to run away from the growing circle, and try not to let the growing circle overlap a green donut torch, so that you can stand with a green torch to be safe from the donut attack and the large circle attack.
Dodge more attacks and use Dawnlit Conviction whenever available.
Supreme Standard will trap you in fetters, and there will be an Active Time Maneuver. When the Active Time Maneuver begins, you can quickly type randomly on the keyboard or quickly press random buttons on the controller to fill the gauge.
Afterward, the boss will summon numerous Hired Thugs. Use the Turali Judgement Combo to deal damage to the enemies within your range. There will be untargetable Illusionists who cast line attacks that you will need to dodge, and a proximity attack that you need to run away from, as well as circle attacks that you need to step out of. You can use Beak of the Luwatena to hit an enemy whenever you are too far away to hit the Hired Thugs with the Turali Judgement Combo. Later, there will be five large circle attack markers. Step into a safe spot between them, but more circle attacks appear, so be sure to move into a safe spot after the first set of attacks goes off.
Toward the end, Bakool Ja Ja's Illusionist, Lancer, and Guardian join the fray. Continue using the Turali Judgement Combo to defeat them, then when Dawnlit Conviction becomes available, use it to end the battle.
